By Dove, www.TarotwithLove.com  Weirdly enough, lol, my Tarot is still saying that Hillary is going to be the next president — and that Obama isn’t.  How that’s going to happen now that Obama is the dem nom, I don’t know :)  But I’m drawing the same cards on it.  Here are the first two blogs I did on this:

December:  Our Next President?

January:  President Hillary…and Maya Angelou

I also posted a comment on this blog not too long ago.

The most intriguing thing to me is how the Tarot is sticking to its strong negative in asking if Obama is going to be the next president — even using the same card.  Five of Cups.  And when I asked the first time (in December), I had absolutely no bias.  I asked about all this again this morning.  Whether or not Hillary is going to be our next president (and oddly enough, lol, I still believe she is going to be — I trust my Tarot), I truly don’t believe Obama is going to be.  And I surely don’t believe it will be McCain.  That leaves Hillary.  Nah, I’m not ALWAYS right (thank gawd, that would scare me, heh), but my Tarot is generally pretty darn accurate.  I have now clearly asked if Obama is going to be our next president, and twice now have been shown the 5 of cups as the answer to that question.  That’s definitely not a victory card.  It’s about sadness and loss.  I mentioned in the comment on the other blog (link above) that maybe this means he’ll withdraw for some reason (I know, it seems inconceivable at this point).  The 5 of cups can be about bereavement or abandonment — it often shows someone very sad because someone has left them.

Actually, I first asked “Why did you tell me Hillary was going to win?”  (Something like that.)  The Tarot came back with the Page of Swords, which is one of the “truth” cards.  I’m taking it as, “Because it’s the truth.”  I even asked if Obama was going to withdraw, and got one of the most positive cards in the deck (Empress — hmmm, his “Empress” would be his wife, perhaps this is suggesting that she may have something to do with his withdrawal).  I asked “Why?”  Seven of Swords.  That card is about a secret, a question of trust – or someone trying to get away with something, it can be about theft.  It’s one of the not-so-positive cards.  I also got the same money card (6 of coins) I’d gotten in originally asking about this — that is, that the problem for Obama may have something to do with a money issue.

I did all this quickly this morning.  I remember asking another question on Hillary, but can’t remember the exact question.  But the answer was 4 of Swords.  In that moment, I felt it was saying with this card to be patient, maybe a waiting period.  As I recall the next question was about Obama, with the Seven of Swords as the answer.  Interestingly, this 4 of Swords can be about a hospital stay — or even incarceration.  I’m thinking now that my question there was, “How can it be the truth that Hillary will be our next president?”  I think that was it.  The cards often have multiple meanings at the same time.  It could be saying that she wil be president after a waiting period.  At the same time, it could be saying that the reason is because Obama will have to withdraw for some reason — health? (hospital stay) or legal? (incarceration) — or some other reason, maybe having to do with his “Empress” (wife).

It’s also interesting that at least one astrologer on that other blog states that things may change from what we think right now — and that seems to align with what I’m getting with the Tarot.

Ah, it also just dawned on me that we’re in a Mercury Retrograde — things are so often temporary during these times.  Democratic nomination?

We’ll see.

By Dove, www.TarotwithLove.com At the end of December, my Tarot cards strongly indicated that Hillary Clinton would be our next president

As I stated in that post, I’m not at all political, and I often (very often) make choices that are greatly influenced by my, um, “intuition,” or “gut feeling,” if you like :)  At the point that I drew the cards above, I was leaning more toward Obama based solely on what others had told me.  Since then, I’ve listened to Hillary a few times.  I like her :)  I think she’s strong, and smart, and I think she’s genuine.  A good person, and clearly very experienced…  I now have no doubt that she would be a very good president, and I later said something to that effect in the comments of the above post.  And that aligns with what the Tarot was saying, that she would do good things for our country as president.  Lots of very positive cards came up in response to that question.  I feel very good about her now, and she’s the one, as far as I’m concerned.

I was just now watching her on the Tyra Banks show (not a show I generally enjoy, but I watched to see Hillary).  It was a nice interview.  Again, I feel Hillary’s passion, her strength…  I loved it when Tyra asked Hillary how she felt about Oprah Winfrey so strongly supporting Obama.  Hillary responded with something like, “Well, ya’ know, I have a lot of fine people who are supporting me as well.”  Tyra pushed the issue, being very kind and charming all the while.

This time, Hillary said, “Well, Maya Angelou is supporting me.”  LOL!  Oh-ma-gawd, I love that Maya is supporting Hillary.  Maya is essentially Oprah’s “Mama” LOL! ;)   As much as I admire Oprah, we all know she often goes to Maya for her wonderful wisdom.  I’m with Maya, I’m with Hillary for our next president.  And I very much believe she will be.

Oh, also I thought it was classy of Hillary to not immediately shoot back that Maya was supporting her.  No, but when Tyra pushed the issue…  And I love knowing that someone that Oprah greatly admires and loves, a mother-daughter type of relationship with Maya Angelou, and yet Maya is supporting Hillary Clinton for president … over an African-American

That speaks volumes in my opinion.  Maya is a wise woman, I love her, I greatly admire her.  I don’t believe for a minute that she would support Hillary over the opportunity to have an African-American in the White House unless she felt Hillary was exceedingly worthy.  In my view, she sees in Hillary, what I see.  A strong woman, experienced and dedicated to the people, to doing the right thing, and someone who is fully capable of cleaning up the mess that this last one has made.

Yay, Hillary! … and Maya! :)

Our Next President?

December 27, 2007

By Dove, www.TarotwithLove.com  Been drawin’ some Tarot cards : )  I’m not political at all, and it’s exceedingly rare for me to watch the news.  So I know nothing about what’s going on with all the presidential hopefuls — I’ve never even heard them speak.  Obama sounds good though, from what I’ve heard here and there — and I trust Oprah : )   So when I drew cards, I was kinda hoping they would show Obama being our next president.  But the first card I drew in asking about him wasn’t a particularly good one.  In fact, it can often represent a bit of trouble.  The Knight of Swords — he’s very determined, but I don’t think he’s gonna win considering the cards that followed.  Maybe some type of money issues or something along those lines may play a part in his defeat.  That’s a bummer though, it seems like he’d be a good one.

I’m not particularly fond of Hillary, but I’d choose her over any of the rest of ‘em.  And when I asked if she was going to be the next president, I got nothing but very positive cards.  And the thing that got me was they were all strong female cards.  Of course, I am using a Tarot deck that has mostly female images, The Goddess Tarot : )   But even so, there are several males in it as well, all the Kings and Knights are male, and there are plenty of cards that have no human being on them, and plenty that would have represented her being defeated.  But I consecutively drew cards that were very positive and very female.   The High Priestess was the first card I drew, it represents intuition and wisdom, it’s one of the major arcana cards (one of only 22 of the most significant cards in the Tarot).  So right off, that’s a big thumb’s up for her being the victor.

I then asked, “What will she do for our country?”  And I drew the 6 of Wands.  That’s a very good card as well, the image is a woman riding a horse in a victory parade, the celebration of her success  :)   So that’s yet another indicator of her success regarding becoming the next president, and also an excellent response to the question of what she’ll do for our country.

I dunno.  I hope I’m wrong, ’cause my choice is still Obama.  But if Hillary Clinton is our next president, as the Tarot seems to be showing, then I hope she does indeed fix the incredible mess our current president has made.

Hmmm, on second thought, her becoming president would be a great sign for those of us who are aware that we are “awakening” spiritually.  The world is just a mirror of us…  It has been the female element that has been missing, the reason our world is so screwed up…  Excess male energy (logic, aggression, left brain), and the oppression of our female energy (intuition, HEART, creativity, spirituality — not religious rules, right-brain).  This would reflect that needed female element rising up into power, where she belongs  : )  Balance.

Okay, so maybe this will be a good thing.  We’ll see : )

Peace,
Dove
