Overwhelmed By Divine Eyes
December 30, 2007
By Dove, www.TarotwithLove.com I just had an epiphany ; ) I was looking at some pics of birds a moment ago. I adore birds, they’re so incredible… But for a nano-second I wasn’t seeing them with my usual fascination, and then it was back. And that was the moment I “got it.” When we feel a passion for something — I mean, it just rocks our world with joy, we’re seeing with “divine eyes.” That’s what came to me.
And maybe we have certain things that we naturally see with “divine eyes,” our “passion(s),” and maybe that’s one reason it’s so important for us to discover our passion. Because that spurs our “divine eyes,” and we begin to see other things with divine eyes. The sky, trees, sun, moon, the stars, clouds, rain, water, animals, birds, bees, flowers — people : )
It’s so easy though for me to feel overwhelmed by the beauty, the ”magic” of Nature….difficult for me to understand why others don’t seem to see it like I see it. Nature is so alive with “spirit,” it radiates with it…
But it’s a challenge to see it in people, people hide the “spirit” in them, they’re afraid of it, they deny it. But I’ve seen it in their eyes…when they’re being loving, or otherwise vulnerable, trusting. It’s those vulnerable, trusting eyes that make people lovable. And seeing those vulnerable eyes, looking at me, trusting, it’s as overwhelming to the heart as watching the flight of a bird or drinking in a stunning blue sky, or melting with love over the sweet face of a puppy : ) If people only knew how powerful, how precious, how beautiful and loveable they are in those moments when they have spirit in their eyes, when they’re being who/what they really are…maybe they would open them more often, and begin to see themselves, and the world more readily with divine eyes : )
Peace,
Dove

As the year winds down, I’m glad to read your wonderful post. We so often do hide our light under a bushel (or whatever that saying is ;) ) I will carry your image of “Divine Eyes” with me into the coming year. This is a real gift. Thank you, Dove

Hi Dove,
What you say about passion resonates with me! 2008 for me will be all about “getting out of my head” and tuning into to my passion, and learning to follow and express that!
I don’t need to wish you a happy new year because of course you have already chosen that for yourself ;-)
Love, Jon

Hiya’ Jon :)
Yay, I love it when people resonate with me, lol ;) And hey, the New Year may have chosen that happy thing for me too ;) considering a wonderful answer I got in randomly “asking a book” a question in that regard, a day or so ago… Hmm, I may write a post about it :)
Have an awesome New Year All!
Update: Here’s the post I just wrote about the Universe chooses a happy thing for me ;)
