Our Next President?

December 27, 2007

By Dove, www.TarotwithLove.com  Been drawin’ some Tarot cards : )  I’m not political at all, and it’s exceedingly rare for me to watch the news.  So I know nothing about what’s going on with all the presidential hopefuls — I’ve never even heard them speak.  Obama sounds good though, from what I’ve heard here and there — and I trust Oprah : )   So when I drew cards, I was kinda hoping they would show Obama being our next president.  But the first card I drew in asking about him wasn’t a particularly good one.  In fact, it can often represent a bit of trouble.  The Knight of Swords — he’s very determined, but I don’t think he’s gonna win considering the cards that followed.  Maybe some type of money issues or something along those lines may play a part in his defeat.  That’s a bummer though, it seems like he’d be a good one.

I’m not particularly fond of Hillary, but I’d choose her over any of the rest of ‘em.  And when I asked if she was going to be the next president, I got nothing but very positive cards.  And the thing that got me was they were all strong female cards.  Of course, I am using a Tarot deck that has mostly female images, The Goddess Tarot : )   But even so, there are several males in it as well, all the Kings and Knights are male, and there are plenty of cards that have no human being on them, and plenty that would have represented her being defeated.  But I consecutively drew cards that were very positive and very female.   The High Priestess was the first card I drew, it represents intuition and wisdom, it’s one of the major arcana cards (one of only 22 of the most significant cards in the Tarot).  So right off, that’s a big thumb’s up for her being the victor.

I then asked, “What will she do for our country?”  And I drew the 6 of Wands.  That’s a very good card as well, the image is a woman riding a horse in a victory parade, the celebration of her success  :)   So that’s yet another indicator of her success regarding becoming the next president, and also an excellent response to the question of what she’ll do for our country.

I dunno.  I hope I’m wrong, ’cause my choice is still Obama.  But if Hillary Clinton is our next president, as the Tarot seems to be showing, then I hope she does indeed fix the incredible mess our current president has made.

Hmmm, on second thought, her becoming president would be a great sign for those of us who are aware that we are “awakening” spiritually.  The world is just a mirror of us…  It has been the female element that has been missing, the reason our world is so screwed up…  Excess male energy (logic, aggression, left brain), and the oppression of our female energy (intuition, HEART, creativity, spirituality — not religious rules, right-brain).  This would reflect that needed female element rising up into power, where she belongs  : )  Balance.

Okay, so maybe this will be a good thing.  We’ll see : )

Peace,
Dove

    Interesting observations.

I “feel right” about Obama, but keep running into some of the “realistic” arguments people make, such as “is he electable?”

It would be nice to think we could elect someone for having a good heart and soul…

I agree, Denmarkguy, Obama definitely “feels” like a good one to me — it would be wonderful to have someone like that in our White House.

    More thoughts…

I feel compelled to kinda respond to a certain poster who kept trying to force her derogatory comments here. Heh.

First, she seemed to totally overlook that I was not particularly in favor of Hillary, but did feel good about Obama. Even though, yeah, I’m not into spending a lot of time with politics. But she still felt compelled to deride me for promoting Hillary.

This wasn’t meant to be a political thread so much as a light-hearted one, just wanted to see if my generally highly accurate Tarot, would also ace this one. Usually, it’s only “wrong” (my interpretation, that is) when I’m wanting a certain thing to be the truth. That wasn’t the case here. I drew the cards, that’s what I saw, end of story.

But I was, truly, amazed when all the projections were indicating that Obama would win NH. I know my Tarot (have used it almost constantly for a lot of years), and I began to wonder why it would show all these positive cards if she wasn’t going to win (the presidency).

I watched her for the first time one night, before NH, with Obama and the rest. I have to admit I started liking her, and not just because my cards do :) I mean, she’s been there, Obama hasn’t. She seems genuine to me, genuine in seeing that Obama is a “dreamer” and that’s a good thing. BUT often we dreamers get smacked hard with “reality” … She already knows what she’s up against, and she’s experienced in dealing with it. Again, I’m not political, these were just my thoughts in watching her.

After seeing the projections, again I was surprised…and so I asked my cards, “Geez, I thought you said she was going to win, is she going to win??” My cards showed me the most negative card in the deck. Ugh!! Whaaat??? Then another negative card. Oh. Ya’ see, this is what the Tarot does when I question the first thing it tells me AND when my ego gets all in there, lol ;) The Tarot, instead of responding to a question it had already answered, was reflecting, with those negative cards, my negative thinking, my doubts. That’s the way the Tarot works. It will respond to the strongest energy within us. If it’s a neutral question, that’s what it zeroes in on, the thought energy, the question or issue one is holding in their mind. But if our emotional energy is stronger, it will reflect that. It’s all about our energy (mind/thoughts or heart/emotions), and that’s why it’s best to clear any fear or expectations when asking the Tarot questions. This is why the energy of someone getting a reading is important as well…and the reason skeptics are so “successful” at their “debunking” and why smart “intuitives” don’t waste their time on them :)

Anyway… So I’m sticking with what the Tarot originally said, I think Hillary will be our next president. And per the cards, she’ll be a good one.

But this person I mentioned above was squawking on her negative views about Hillary, and mentioned my thoughts about how it would be a good sign for those of us who know that it’s crucial that the female element rise up into power where she belongs. For those who don’t quite grasp what I’m saying, it’s not about Hillary. Even if she does prove to be an excellent president (how bad could she be compared to this last one). But metaphysically, she would simply be SYMBOLIC of that female element. It wouldn’t even matter if she was not that great, the key is that she would be a sign of our female energy rising to power. Female energy, not just women. Female energy is in all of us. Women being oppressed is simply symbolic of that feminine energy (emotion, intuition, HEART, non-religious spirituality) in ALL of us having been pushed down. And THAT is the reason we have really screwed ourselves up. We need that balance if we’re going to survive.

I also thought it was interesting, hearing about the moment that Hillary showed some emotion, a tear? I didn’t see it, just heard (was reading about it online). It reminded me how I’d put that word “heart” in caps in my original post. Again, yeah, more symbolism… HEART is what we’re in need of. Some suggested she was faking this, others said she was stupid and weak for allowing her emotions… One guy said after she won NH, that it was a ploy, and it helped her win the older women’s vote. Geez, what an idiot. (Sorry, heh.) He would have been the one to say it was the reason she lost…

I do believe Hillary will be our next president, and I think she’ll be a very good one. And her being in power, the first female president in a most significant country in our world, will be a good sign (”feminine energy” rising up in a big way — in a very significant country) for all of us, the Big Picture.

    Peace,
    Dove
