By Dove, www.TarotwithLove.com  I always enjoy this exercise — where ya’ share what you’d get if you had a million dollars or, even better, unlimited income.  So here’s my twist on an idea I just saw on another’s blog.  That is, I’m going to list eight things I’d get myself for Christmas if I had unlimited income.  The rule here is ya’ can only buy gifts for you at this time.  I’ll do all the saving of the world stuff another time, lol ;)

Hmmm, well, I don’t give a flip about the bling-bling, jewelry, mega-dollar clothes and fancy cars… and I still wouldn’t buy a cell phone, or a “Blackberry” — what the hell is that anyway? lol  I don’t get out much, heh  I rarely watch television — and seriously, I don’t know about all the new hi-tech stuff…I just don’t care, it’s so not compelling to me.    I’m very much becoming a minimalist, excessive material items just feel suffocating to me now (former material girl).

But I’d still love to have unlimited income :)  First and foremost for the freedom of it and second, well, to save the world :)  So let’s see, eight gifts I would buy for me if I had unlimited income…

 1)  I’ve always said that if I won a million dollars the very first thing I’d do is kick back and just breathe :)  A delicious breath of freedom.  I’d then pick up the phone and make reservations at the finest health spa in the country — I’d get all healthed up and pampered for about a month while contemplating how I will save the world, lol ;)

2)  Next I’d hire the best private tutor to teach me Spanish and French.  Okay, I’ll stop saying “the best,” and just let it be understood that I would hire and buy the best :)

3)  I’d hire a personal trainer to get me on a fabulous exercise and weight training program.  One of my goals has long been to have a body-builder bod :)  But not the manly kind, I think Rachel McLish (successful female bodybuilder from yesteryear) did it well.  Muscular, yet still very feminine.

4) I’d purchase a thousand (or more) acres and build a gorgeous rustic home, reasonably sized, very comfortable, lotsa wood and knotty-ness, lol… minimalist design and decor.  Raised deck all around it, where’d I spend most of my time :)  Very secluded, surrounded by lush, dense woods alive with the energy of my sweet Nature.

5)  I’d buy another place (maybe 10 to 20 miles away) much like the one above, a ranch with horses and other livestock.  A huge organic garden.  And hire bunches of people to tend to it all :)  Why separate from my other place?  Because the other place is just for me, I don’t want strangers living/working in and around my peaceful “paradise” :)

6)  I’d probably get a black Jeep Wrangler for fun, and also a nice truck :)  No sports car or other la-ti-da car for me.  They nauseate me just a tad, those who drive them are generally dripping with insecurity and feelings of inadequacy.  Hey, if you drive one and you feel genuinely confident, without arrogance (insecurity) and you wouldn’t feel like your penis was removed if it was destroyed, well then okay, lol ;)

7) Okay, I’d probably buy a handful of the best designer jeans, but that’s not about the label (I’d remove them if possible), it’s about the good feeling and look of high-quality clothes.  If I can find it in a lesser brand or a thrift store, I’m on it :)  And then prolly a few other clothes, but not too many.  Seriously, I will start to feel ill if I have to much stuff like that.

8)  Then I’d travel a bit, go to all the metaphysical “hot spots” and other assorted fun places…  And while traveling, I’d, uh, meet my amazing soulmate life-partner to be and, uh, we’d fall blissfully in love… Yeah, that’s the ticket, lol ;)  Then we’d go live at my luscious thousand-acre place.  And, um, live happily ever after.  The end.  LOL! ;)

 Hey, that was fun :)

Peace,
Dove

    loll!! Let play…

    1) When I think about having financial abundance I am me too want to help…I will build a foundation or invest into a business to help artists or/and helping people thru art…

    2) I will get a good dental job, get new glasses and buy some new clothes..

    3) I would invest into real estate and have a place to live in Canada and in Europe..

    4) I will experience ”New Spirituality” stuff like going on Neale Donald Walsch and/or Hicks Cruise Ship trips and may be meet a nice unconventional guy like me..

    5) I will invite some blog friends over to Quebec or Europe and teach them some French..Free of charge…loll!! I will have Dove to do me a reading and Muse to sing and play music at my wedding…I have a strong feeling that we will see each other one day..

    6) Having a lot of money will surely be a relieve for me…Not to worry about anything that is related to money…It will give me a sense of security and the opportunity to continue doing inspired actions mean everything I am passionate about but not making a living from it all so far like reading, writing, poetry, painting, travelling, etc…..

    7) I would definitely use good alternative methods to improve my health like acupuncture, EFT, Pranic, etc.. I would choose also the right therapeutic approach to overcome, once for all, emotional deep wounds that I can have a real sense of happiness

    8) Hope that everyone will get the 8 Xmass gifts that they wish for…

    Peace,

    CV

Oh-yay, CV wanted to play! ;)

    1) Hey, no fair, all gifts are to be for CV only! lol ;) Maybe I’ll start a thread sometime on all the fun things we’d do to make the world better with all our moo-lah, lol They just flood into my brain when I think in that direction. Women’s organizations — I want women strong and powerful as they have always had the power within them to be!! I’d create organizations to teach them strength and heal them on every level. Physical strength, mental strength, emotional strength, creative strength… Teach them (de-program them) that they can and should be able to do/be whatever the hell they please, they most assuredly deserve equal rights and real freedom…and they don’t need a man to “complete them” or to tell them what’s what or to otherwise rule them. *deep breath* lol ;) I’d create alternative, healing communities across the U.S., self-sufficient — communities that are in no way dependent on the screwed and toxic systems that we now endure… Communities that would be a role model for freedom, and for taking care of us, each other, and our precious planet… :)

    2) Ah, dental work, good one. Yeah, I’d get rid of all this mercury poison put in my teeth when I was just a little one.

    3) You go girl! lol

    4) Good stuff :)

    5) Yay, French for free! lol I’ll come to your wedding too, lol Hey cool, I’ll get to meet Muse :)

    6) Ah, best one, nothing compares to the freedom of it — being able to do whatever the hell ya’ please. Now that’s real good stuff :) Yeah, no money worries, spend all the time ya’ want on writing, painting…and reveling in Nature, and just plain ole enjoying this precious gift that is our life — oh, baby, what a joy.

    7) Yep, I’d do all that alternative stuff too…and the “deep wounds” thing as well. I should of have also put on my list that I’d probably get a massage every single day :)

    8) Hey, with this one and the first one, you still have two more “wishes” :) But ya’ know, I understand it’s really secondary to come up with those “gifts,” when truly the very best one is simply the freedom of it, the gift of having your life back :)

Thanks for playing, CV, have a fab-uh-lous Sunday!

Oh my goodness, I’m moved and amused. dove, you are brave to do this exercise, and put this out there! I’m enraptured with your choices! I want to play, too! Being me, I’ll want to “think” about it for a while, maybe several years…no really, I’ll do it, and get back to you :?

And seeing CV’s list here, I am so touched. I will hold you in the light for all those things, and I’d be honored to participate in your wedding! And I’d love to learn French from you–hey can you teach online? Your art DOES help people, and more people deserve to get to experience it.

dove, again, yeah, it’s hard to concentrate on “having” just for ourselves. Do you, um, perhaps, have some, um, issues with how women are in the world? Don’t get me started! Deep breath, lol

I once heard this game on the radio and one caller had a most interesting idea that really resonated with me… Everyone else called in with the typical consumerism: cars, jewels, etc, but this one guy said he would take all his loved ones in to meet the very best doctors and get everyone a total screening just to make sure health was #1 priority and not anything starting yet-to-be discovered yuckiness.

Of course, now that I think whose blog I’m at here, you would find the very best alternative health docs! just in case you have a tad distrust for those traditional med docs… ?

    Great post! as always… “C”

lol… Hey Muse, I’m eager to hear what your 8 gifts to yourself would be :) Also, I’m hungry to know why you feel it was “brave” of me. It didn’t feel brave, just fun :) And heck, is this more brave than sharing my psychic-woman stuff? lol ;) I think I’ve always been pretty open and “out there,” naively trusting? It’s an Otter thing ;) But I also can be highly contradictory (a Libra thing) — like, I sometimes share personal details without giving it a thought, and yet I generally consider myself a very private person :) The enigma that is me, lol ;)

Hi CC, yeah, one of the coolest things about having lotsa money would be the freedom to do good in the world with it, to give and fully participate in those causes that you’re really passionate about :) That spurs thoughts of one of my fav shows — I think it’s called “Extreme Makeover.” (They build incredibly gorgeous houses for the most wonderful people.) Omg, I love that show. I watched it for the first time in a long time last night. Ah, if you’re in need of a good cry, that is the show to watch. It is so precious. I sit there with a big ole smile on my face with tears streaming pretty much through the whole show. And I love the guy with the spiked hair, lol, he is such a sweetheart.

Oh, and that’s right, the very best alterntive health docs! yay! lol

    Hi, Dove!

That was fun reading, as well!

For me, unlimited income TOTALLY = Freedom :) How I spend that freedom (and the income) can vary from day to day but several things stick out. One, I want to own my own home - paid in full - somewhere beautiful where the ocean meets the sea. I also would want to put some money aside for each of my two kids (they’re 21 and 20), and I’d probably go on a mad clothes shopping spree because I just don’t do that sort of thing. Oh! And travelling…lots and lots of travelling…writing my book, meeting new people, taking classes….

Then there are the causes that I already support, that I’d throw a bunch of money at: Oceana.org….The kids in Swaziland who have been orphaned by AIDS. And depending on HOW much money, maybe create a safe haven for abused women and their children.

:) Feeling my vibration raise a few notches just by writing that!!

I’ve just been over to your Tarot with Love site and read your OWL, HAWK, & Tarot story… it was such a great read and I loved how everything just unfolded for you. What was the triggering event (if there was one) that helped you get in touch with your Guides & your abilities?

I had to fight my own inner battle with fear & stuff in order to use oracle & tarot cards (bought 3 more decks tonight, btw…Hay House is having a $5 SALE and I was able to pick up three that I’ve been wanting for hte price of one! LOL)

Like you, I’ve sat in wonder at the wisdom, guidance, comfort and correction I received. I used to give free readings over at Care2.com :) a year or so back when I co-moderated a group over there. Just yesterday I was thinking about offering readings again on this blog!

Namaste, Dove! It’s so fun getting to know you!

Yay, I love it when vibrations raise, lol ;) Hey, Grace, thanks so much for reading my Tarot story — but it was actually a crow :) The Crow has been hanging out with me for a lot of years now. I like hawks too though, and they’ve brought me messages on several occasions.

I’m lovin’ that you enjoyed my Tarot story. Yeah, I must say I’ve had a lot of very magical experiences on this journey — lotsa cool stories. In fact, I wrote that story rather quickly and later (after published), I remembered at least two more awesome things that happened that day. I may share one of them on here sometime…or save ‘em both for the book I’m gonna write someday :)

Yep, you’re right, I think we may have been separated at birth, lol

Well, the day I discovered I could do the psychic thing was THE DAY. The day everything changed…that day royally rocked my world. It was like every moment of it tingled with magic — I’m serious. Like I walked outta one world and into another in an instant. But I don’t feel comfortable sharing a lot of it here at this time.

But in a nutshell, I went to this “intuitive training.” A one-day metaphysical thing. I’d never been to anything like it, I’d never gone to a psychic before (was very skeptical of such things), and I only went because the guy I was living with encouraged me to go :) I was nervous, but it seemed exciting. The room was packed with people, a small room, about 30 people.

The psychic-teacher gave us some simple instructions at the beginning of the class as to how to “read” people. Basically just deep breathe, close your eyes and listen…and be sure and hold good intentions and all. She had us just gravitate toward others to read them. We just sorta looked around sheepishly and eyes connected, and then readings commenced. We did this all day long — everyone was doing it. It was amazing, I saw things in my mind’s eye, and just spoke what was coming into my mind. And the people I was reading were, to my absolute amazement, confirming the truth of what I was telling them…

As for connecting with my “Guides,” it was freaky. When she told me I’d begin to hear them, I didn’t believe it. But then one day, maybe six months later, I was chopping veggies in the kitchen, living in the country. Just outta of the blue, I heard, “There’s something neat outside.” I was like, “Huh?” lol I was at home alone (living with the above-mentioned guy at the time) and after hearing that, I thought I’d look outside.

We lived on a dead end dirt road, both hermits, visitors were extremely uncommon. I walked to the living room and opened the curtain a little, to peek outside. And to my horror, there was a strange guy walking up the path toward the front door. I jumped back from the window, and my heart was pounding like crazy. I thought, who the hell is that? Secluded spot in the country, no traffic, home alone, strange man outside. My heart was freaking. But part of that was just the fact that there actually was something outside. I thought, omg, I really heard “them,” my Guides.

I wondered why this guy wasn’t knocking at the door. I looked outside again, and he was gone. Anyway, to make a long story shorter :) We found out later that day that the guy had been looking for his pet pig! I then remembered that he was looking down at the ground when I saw him through the window.

On another occasion, later, I saw the pig (loose again in our yard), it was a cute little black and white piglet, lol But THAT (the pig) was the “something neat outside.” :) I later heard my guides say this was sort of a simple way for them to introduce themselves to me. The weird thing is, I heard them a lot during that time, but not so much now. Maybe, in the beginning they were there to teach me some things, and they did…

Hey, I briefly had a group at Care2 as well :) But I didn’t really get so fired up about it, so I let it go by the wayside. I think Care2 is a good site though.

So I’m wondering what decks ya’ got on sale :)

Anyway, thanks for sharing, Grace, you’re awesome :)
